What happens with my file after being uploaded on your system?

For the purpose of guarding the file, we require it to be uploaded on our system. After guarding it and downloading the guarded file on a place selected by you, the original file is removed from the system automatically.

What happens if the Internet cuts down during uploading/downloading?

If a part of the file is uploaded/downloaded, it is removed automatically within a few minutes of the fault’s detection. You need to repeat the guarding process again.

I forgot my guarded file’s password. How can I retrieve it?

Sorry to disappoint you, but if you forgot your password, there is no way we can restore it for you. For protection of your data, we do not hold record of your guarded password.

Do I need the same password to unguard a file?

Yes, you should always make sure you remember the password of the guarded data in order to unguard it.

I forgot my guarded file’s password. How can I unguard the data?

Sorry to disappoint you, but if you forgot your password, there is no any way to unguard your data, as this is necessary for our protection mechanism.

Is / Why this service free?

This service is currently in beta stage and is free for using it with files between 1KB and 10MB in size. When this stage concludes, there will be some paid services.

Why Web service?

We are starting this as a web service to provide easy access to it and to reach a wider audience. We are working on a desktop and console applications for all Windows, Linux and macOS.
